Why is it called Ursa Bear?
Ursa Bear cabin was born out of a lifelong love affair with the stars. And an 8 foot bear and his mate called George. And what better way to gaze upon nature and witness the spectacular Milky Way than on Exmoor, with its dark skies status and minimal light pollution.
The Ursa Bear Philosophy
At Ursa Bear cabin we like to relax and have some fun at the same time. Well traveled bears found their spiritual home in Morebath, amongst the wooded glens and skylarks of Devon. This is a place to put your feet up and relax and seek out some of the hidden treasures the cabin has to offer!

How we made Ursa Bear Cabin
It all started with a love of stargazing, a bear in a reclamation yard and a big idea! Not only did we think it was bonkers enough to build, but Channel Four Alumni, George Clarke wanted to follow our journey as well and we were featured in Season 11 of George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces
